
Taxi & Tempo Traveller Service – Terms & Conditions
1. General Terms:
By booking a taxi or tempo traveller with Baga Cabs, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
Services are provided as per availability and confirmed only after successful booking.
All passengers must provide accurate contact details at the time of booking.
Baga Cabs operates across Goa, covering Dabolim Airport, Mopa Airport, North Goa, South Goa, and other major destinations.
2. Booking & Cancellation Policy:
Advance Booking: Customers are encouraged to book taxis or tempo travellers in advance, especially during peak seasons and holidays.
Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only after receiving a confirmation message via call, SMS, or email from the Baga Cabs team.
Cancellation Policy:
Free cancellation is allowed only within 12 hours of booking.
An advance payment is compulsory to secure your booking.
3. Payment Policy:
Payment Methods: Payments can be made via cash, UPI, or online transfer at the time of booking or directly to the driver.
Advance Payment: For tempo traveller bookings, higher advance amounts may be required due to vehicle allocation.
Outstanding Payments: All dues must be cleared at the end of the trip.
4. Driver/Operator Responsibilities:
All drivers/operators of Baga Cabs must follow traffic rules and prioritize passenger safety.
The driver has the right to refuse service if passengers are intoxicated, misbehaving, or exceeding seating capacity.
Drivers will wait up to 15 minutes at the pickup point. Beyond this, waiting charges may apply.
5. Passenger Responsibilities:
Passengers must wear seat belts where available.
Personal belongings are the responsibility of passengers; Baga Cabs is not liable for lost items.
Any damage to the vehicle caused by passengers will be chargeable.
Passengers must respect the driver/operator and vehicle during the journey.
6. Luggage Policy:
Taxi Service: Standard luggage that fits in the vehicle’s boot is allowed.
Tempo Traveller: Suitable for group travel and larger luggage, but passengers must disclose luggage requirements at the time of booking.
Extra/oversized luggage may be refused if not declared earlier.
7. Airport Pickup & Drop:
For airport pickups, drivers will wait at the designated meeting point.
For airport drops, passengers must be punctual to avoid delays.
Additional waiting charges may apply for extended delays.
8. Pricing & Extra Charges:
Base Fare: Calculated based on distance, vehicle type (taxi or tempo traveller), and duration.
Waiting Charges: Apply if waiting exceeds 15 minutes.
Night Charges: An additional 20% night charge applies between 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
Toll & Parking Fees: Passengers are responsible for tolls, parking, and entry fees (if any).
9. Safety & Conduct:
Smoking, drinking, or using illegal substances inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
Passengers must follow local laws and maintain respectful behavior.
In case of an emergency, passengers must contact Baga Cabs support team immediately.
10. Liability Disclaimer:
Baga Cabs is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
Baga Cabs is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or losses during the trip unless proven to be the direct fault of the driver/operator.
11. Changes to Terms & Conditions:
Baga Cabs reserves the right to modify these terms without prior notice.
Updates will be published on our website or communicated via official channels.
